Brock Sizemore Racing’s Race Report
Bakersfield, Ca: 4/27/11- Sizemore Racing
made the trip to the indian reservation lands this past weekend
at Cahuilla Creek where round 4 of the 2011 ATV WORCS Racing
series was held. Brock had a stellar weekend, posting his first
win of the year and collecting two
additional thirds for a three race podium sweep.
On Saturday morning in the 90cc Production class, Brock would
pull hole shot and lead pack into the off road. While leading,
Brock would choose a bad line and fall back where he would
battle back and forth throughout the first half. On the last
lap, Sizemore put his head down and made the pass in the last
corner to secure his first win on the season. In the afternoon
race (8-15 yrs. 90cc Sport class), Brock would line up again in
the class that has given him fits the entire season. From water
pumps, to failed clutches, Brock was determined to turn his luck
around and that is just what he did. Brock would push hard the
entire race and settle for a 3rd and secure the second podium on
the weekend. On Sunday morning it was almost a copy of Saturday
where Brock held solid for third capping off a great weekend of
racing for BSR and Brock heading into Round 5.
“This weekend went awesome, I’m so pumped to get my first win
and then to finish it up two more thirds, I can’t be happier.
Really looking forward to the second half of the season and
continuing with the solid finishes. ”
Brock’s next race will be June 4-5th in Payette, ID at the Clay
Peak Facility. |

Tristan "the animal" Shelton # 777
Update: Tristan's raced at the Gold Rush MX
Park Spring Series Round 4, this last weekend 4/23 and 4/24.
Even thou the weather was horrible, (we even had snow!) Tristan
raced his Apex 70 for the first time. He took 1st in the 80 cc
class and 1st in the 90 cc class. He was untouchable all
weekend. We have a few adjustments to his ATV before the next
race, with these adjustments we think he would have more
competition racing the 90 cc modified class. We have new
pictures of Tristan and his Apex that we will post
soon.....Shelton Racing....live to ride, love to ride, ride til
you die!! |

his way to the front of the pack. |

Jack Winland Update:
We finally got the race season started!
Jack mustered a 4th place finish under some pretty harsh
conditions. The track was a typical Ohio, early spring, rutted
up mess. He did a good job, more importantly he kept his
composer and had a great time. |

Kyler
Thau Update:
WORCS Round 3 at Lake Havasu City , AZ on
March 17-20th brought both some great racing and a little
disappointment for Kyler Thau, 224y. In
the 90cc Stock class, Kyler raced to a first place finish which
secured a 9 point lead for the series in the 90 Stock class.
In the 70cc Stock class, Kyler pulled another awesome
hole shot and was in the lead until struggling with a
reoccurring mechanical issue that bumped him to a 5th place
finish. Currently up by just 4 points, he
is holding the series points for the 70cc Stock class.
In the 8-15yr old Sport Class, 21 racers lined up on the
starting line and Kyler was able to take the checked flag and a
4th place finish! Up next is Cahuilla
Creek in Anza , California for WORCS Round 4 in April.

Update
Kyler Thau:
Kyler Thau, 224y competed at a cold and
windy WORCS Round 2 Buffalo Bills Raceway in Primm, Nevada
February 26 & 27th, bringing home a first and forth
place finish. In the 90cc Stock class, Kyler placed forth place
after struggling with some mechanical issues and (an
uncontested) modified quad racing in the stock
class taking the third place trophy. In the 70cc
Stock class he pulled the hole-shot and was in the lead
through-out the race to take a strong first place finish! The
70cc continues to run consistently strong once a few minor
adjustments were discovered after the Taft race in January and
as Kyler’s mechanic (Dad & Grandpa!) get a better handle on the
2-stroke engine. After 2 rounds, Kyler is holding the
points lead on the 70 Stock class and is in 2nd (down 2 points)
in the 90 Stock class.
Many thanks to our 2011 sponsors: Roost1 Racing, Apex Racing,
G-Force, National Top Gun Race Team, AMSoil, No Fear, ODI Grips,
X-Brand Goggles, DWT/Motoworks and Fast Flexx Handlebars.
Looking forward to WORCS Round 3 in Lake Havasu , AZ and
possibly some GNCC races thanks to National
Guard/Polaris/Coastal Drilling’s Scott Kiger (SBS Class1) from
Virginia whose driver will haul quads to the GNCC races should
they work into the schedule! |

Jett Capeheart Update: It was
a great final to a great year for JETT Capeheart. Jett took
second place but more exciting news is that he led more laps out
front
than
ever before. Thanks again for all the help from the Veterans of
the sport. Without families like the
Cushmans
and Sorrows to show us how things are done it would have been a
much tougher road.
Remember when you see that first time racer family that shows
up with a pickup, self assembled semi race machine and a small
tacklebox full of tools, its not about us-its about that kid on
the mini quad with stars in his eyes.
Let's not forget to mention Gary and Les that never seem to
tire from our relentless questions and E-mails! THANK YOU!!

Year
end update for Colben Steury- Indiana
Colben raced in and finished his 1st ever GNCC race
in Crawfordsville, IN- The Ironman! He had a great start and was 2nd on
the holeshot out of a field of 21 riders. Speaking of holeshots, Colben
finished the second half of his season getting 4 out 5 holeshots. In
the Ironman race, he was running in 5th position after the first 4 mile
lap. He has mastered his starts but staying off of trees and out of
ruts, he has not. After 4 laps, he ended up finishing 13th in the
Ironman. He was able to finish every race this season- a HUGE goal
met! The last race in November, Ralley In The Valley by MAXC, he
somehow finished with a broken front shock. How he did that, who knows!
Final Standings- Stock 90 cc class:
AMA D15 State Harescramble Series-6th place (29
riders)
AMA D15 Hoosier Harescramble Championship Series5th place
MAXC Harescramble Series- 7th place

I started the day well and ran fastest heat
in youth, but in the 200-300 quad (Blaster Quad) I came into the

week before Dec 11 race if it heals right. Should be able to
make that race.

Jett Capeheart Update
Jett Capeheart was able to pull a hard earned 2nd
place in his first night race in the Durhamtown race series. Jett placed
2nd in his class and 2nd overall. Jett showed some real competitive
attitude this weekend passing and staying in front of 2 other riders he
has never been able to beat, coming in behind a 12yo (jett is 8 with
less than 1 year in the saddle) on a worked APEX90 with over 3 years
experience. Jett still has a dominating lead in the points for his
series. |

Kendall
Mauterstock update
It was a hot and competitive season for Kendall
Mauterstock, who was able to narrowly clinch first overall in our local
MX series by ONE POINT!!!. After battling against modified Apex and DRR
90s on his G-Force powered DRR 70 for 9 rounds of racing, Kendall became
the points champion for the second year in a row. It was an intense
season that came down to the reliability of our G-Force built engine and
Kendall's dedication to the sport. |

Aeris Knop #11 Update
Well the season is finally over. In the last race
i took 1st in 90cc Stock. I beat them guys by half of a lap. In 90cc
mod i took second as usual. I think it was the best race of the
season. I was trying real hard in stock. I was 6 points behind another
kid when the day started so i ran real hard to beat her. Well i did and
i ended up with a 1st place season overall for 90cc stock and a second
place season overall for 90cc mod. It was a great season and i am
looking forward to another great season next year. Id like to thank the
guys at G-Force for all the parts and help they gave me and my dad with
the quads. We couldn't have done it without you guys. |

Kira
Campbell Update
The #224 of Kira Campbell got the holeshot and the win in the Girls
class at the Round 12 GNCC Powerline Park in St. Clairsville, OH on
October 9, 2010! Her APEX was running a little rich and we were
concerned that she would run out of gas before the finish. We no
longer have to be concerned!! This was a wide open track and Kira
had to keep it pinned or her bike would load up and bog. She made
it the whole race with gas to spare, so if you havent already
purchased one of the bigger aluminum gas tanks, go do it!

Noah
Free Update
Noah won both heat races in the 71-90cc stock and
71-90 mod classes this weekend. His sparkplug cap come off in the mod
main and he finished second in the stock main. He, currently, is first
in the stock class and third in the mod class with 2 races to go for the
season. He also made the fifth grade academic team and he is in the
fourth grade. Not a bad week for him. He is dropping my jaw at the track
on how good he has become in the short time he has been racing. We've
(Mom and Dad) decided the he will run some Nationals next year. |
 |
|
Cameron Whaley Update
Well Cameron continues to get the job
done on the track! He can add another four 1st place wins
on his Apex 90. He also had another opportunity to run an
AMA flat track race. He placed 4th in the 90 CVT production
class. We have only six races left in our season, but are
hoping to continue performing well. "Hotrod"
has had a blast racing in his first season of motocross

Hunter Dentler Update
Hunter has been doing great this season. He is running second in
points in the Districts. We, his family, are very very proud of
Hunter and how well he has done this season. This was his first
year on a 70 and we took it easy and started out with a not to
expensive set up as everyone knows how expensive this stuff can be.
We also wanted to let Hunt kind of ease his way in to a bigger
motor. We didn't want to go to big all at once. Next year is a
whole new year for Hunter and us, Hunt's family and pit crew. We
are very excited about starting a new year.
Now that the year is almost over we are excited to get started on
some upgrades and to get ready for the next season. Most of all we
are ready for a little break from all of the traveling. We are
ready for the hunting season. We all hunt as a family and it is a
change from the fast pace of racing.
We do look forward to next years season and to seeing all of our
racing buddies as well.
We want to thank G-Force for sponsoring us this year. It definitely
was a huge help and we look forward to hopefully having another good
year with their sponsorship help.

Updates on Carson Melchi #617
Carson raced in Cheyenne Wy Sunday Sept 12. In the
first Moto he took the holeshot and won the race. After the race dad
noticed a leak from the water pump. After tearing it down the
nylon piece that goes on the stator was broken so dad got the JB weld
out so we could hit the 2nd moto. Carson came in 2nd place, had all the
power he needed but not the top end. 2nd place over all in Cheyenne WY.
This was the last race of the year for outdoors. Now we have we have to
get ready for some indoor racing. Thank you Les and G-Force for
all your support this long long year. We were able to hit 14 out of 15
races this year with your support and dads money lol. We will
post the final placement for the year soon.

With
the season coming to a close Jacob is currently running second in points
for the overall pewee champion. Out of the 6 drag races he has run he
has placed in the top 5 all but one race. Jacob also has decided to
broaden his horizons this season. He competed in his first motocross at
a local county fair and placed second. We will be attending the
Kentucky Nationals on the 18th of September. Jacob also is going to
compete in a short fall outlaw motocross series at a local track. For
current updates check out his webpage find him on facebook. |

Kyler Robinson Update
Kyler
Robinson wrapped up the ATVA Extreme Dirt Track National in Orville
Ohio on August 28th with a 4th place finish in a exciting 90cc Auto
Production class race and in the 90cvt he finished 6th overall in
the 90cc CVT class. This is the end to the 2010 EDT Nationals and
he finished the season in 3rd place overall in the 90 Production
class and finished 5th overall in the 90cc CVT class. Kyler had an
exciting year as he led some Nationals for a while, holeshoted a
couple times, and had a couple wrecks along the way going against
some of the fastest motors and riders in the country. The GForce
built Malossi Motor was reliable without one
DNF or problem
throughout the entire season. We watched many motors from about
every builder fail throughout the season but had no issues along the
way this season. If looking for someone to build or rebuild your
motor for next season look no further than where you are at. Call
Gary and Les and they can help put you up on the podium. If you
can't finish you can't win.

Zach Jones Update:
Zach
practiced his tight woods racing real hard this summer during the
GNCC summer break and it seems to have paid off. When he's not
racing GNCC he likes to run the Mid East Harescrambles and some
local MX. He raced the Yadkinville GNCC track with Mid East last
week and won his class and won the overall ! He was flying. The
Apex 90 even ripped up the superminis and ran flawlessly in a
very muddy race. You can't beat having an airbox in those
conditions! Zach likes MX as well so we hit the MX National at
Loretta's this year and it was a blast. We knew we were under
powered running a stock cylinder against all those 2-Fast motors but
Zach managed to win his LCQ and finished 11th in the 90 Auto class.
Loretta's was a blast. We like to thank Team Apex and Maximum RPM
for the motor "tweaks" that have this nearly stock quad running so
strong and reliable. We're looking for a couple wins to close out
the GNCC season this Fall.

Carson Melchi #617 TEAM G FORCE
Raced Sunday 8-29-10 in
Mitchell Nebraska. The first moto he had a hard time hooking up at
the start but by the first corner he caught the lead pack. By
the first half on the lap he was in the lead running away with his
G-Force built Quad. At the start a rider from back east was telling
the kids he has never been beat and was the Nebraska state Champion.
Well he got schooled by the
G-Force Team.
The second moto Carson’s Torsion spring failed and all he had was
his Mid range and high range. The start was ugly as all the kids
took off and he was building up his RPM’S on his motor. By the half
way point of the first lap he was in second place and moving towards
first place. After the first lap he took the inside line in a corner
and moved into first place and left the pack .Carson rode like he
never did before. he held his line and never gave it up. Carson took
first in both motos and first overall for the day. After the race he
waited for all the riders to finish and congratulated all of them.
Great job C MAN
Thank you G Force for all the support

 Colben
Steury (Indiana) Update:
Colben entered into the new MAXC (Mid America XC Racing) series this
season. This was unchartered territory for him. This series brings
much harder harescramble tracks than what he was used to. He faced
it fearlessly and did very well for being one of the youngest racers
there. And he looks bad to the bone on his G Force DRR!
MAXC May 29th - Iron Mountain, Bloomfield, IN- 7th place 90cc stock-
12th overall
MAXC July 10th - Six Mile Creek, Greenfield, IN- 9th place 90cc

Update on rider Cameron Whaley #17.
Cameron is continuing a good season with his
Apex 90. He has placed first in the last 5 races and has won
2 holeshot awards. He had an opportunity last week to run an AMA
flat track event. He finished 4th in the Heat race and was running
the same when he had trouble with a slipper sprocket. Cameron had a
blast running with those AMA racers. Good luck to all in your
races!

Update For Kyle Downes:
July was a busy month for me I got to go racing in
Olympia, Washington
July 24th & 25th at round 7 of the WORCS series race. Me and my Aunt
Leslie and Papa drove up there and on the way we got to see a lot of
cool things like Mount St. Helens volcano and lots and lots of trees
in Oregon and
Washington. We
arrived at the track early so we could get to practice on Friday. My
race wasn't till Sunday but I had fun playing with all my new
friends that I have met this year racing. Sunday morning when I got
to the starting line I couldn't believe how many kids were there.
The biggest class all year for my age group of 4-6 50cc riders,
(nine other racers) after 30 minutes of racing MX and thru the
woods and over some logs I finished 3rd. I am still holding on to
2nd place overall for the year. On the way home we got to go to the
Oregon Dunes, boy was that cool riding on the beach. Then it was
home and off to school for 1st grade.

CONDUCTED HIMSELF AT HIS RACES. HUNTER IS RUNNING A STRONG 2ND IN
POINTS AND WE HAVE 3 RACES LEFT TO CATCH THE LEADER. HIS NEXT RACE IS
THE ARPINE IN SEPTEMBER AT SNOWFLAKE, AZ AND WE ARE EXCITED TO RUN THAT
RACE. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU GFORCE. |

Clayton Crise Update
Sorry so late but been quite busy with racing season.
Wanted to let you know that Clayton participated in his first National
race over the July 4th weekend at Pleasure Valley.
Clayton’s lap times got better and better. He started out at
2.17 first practice, went to 2.11 second practice and by the third
practice he dropped to 2.08. Clayton qualified to run in the
second moto. There were 21 kids in the race. Clayton ended
up coming in 13th place out of 21. We could not have
been any happier for him if he won it. This was his first ever
National and he did an absolute wonderful job. Clayton has also
dominated the PAMX Spring ATV Series in which he took first place in the
whole series. As of right now he is first in the GCS Series and
now they just started the PA State Championship Series and he is first
in that also. So far what a great year for Clayton. Would
like to thank G-Force for everything they do and a special thanks to
Steve Cobrando for all his hard work he has put into building Clayton’s
motor and all the times of helping us when we have questions or is there
when we need him.

Hunter Martinez Update
"HUNTER RAN HIS FIRST ARENA CROSS IN GALLUP, NEW
MEXICO. THE EVENT WAS THE TEX-MEX KICKER ARENA CROSS, AND WAS ALOT
DIFFERENT THAN THE
WHIPLASH DESERT SERIES THAT HE IS USED TO. HUNTER TOOK 3RD IN
HIS CLASS (4-8 BEGINNER) AND WE WERE SO PROUD OF HIM AND HOW HE PUT IT
ON THOSE SANDBAGGERS!!
HE WAS SO WORRIED HIS GFORCE APEX WOULDNT PERFORM TO HIS DESERT
PERFORMANCES, BUT WAS SHOCKED WHEN HE PULLED THE HOLESHOT ON EVERY RACE
(THANKS LES) WE ARE SO PROUD OF ARE 5 YEAR OLD SON. ONCE AGAIN THANKS
GFORCE." |

Kyler Thau Update
Kyler Thau 224y competed at his 3rd
official race and 2nd WORCS race at Round 7 Straddleline
ORV Park in Olympia,
Washington on July 24 & 25 bringing home a 3rd
place finish in both the Stock 90cc and 70cc races!
Just 1.3 seconds behind the fastest lap time in the 90cc
class, Kyler came into the first turn strong but missed the holeshot
by a fraction. We are looking forward to more
experience and practice to refine some of the racing fundamentals as
we continue to prepare for the entire WORCS series in 2011.
Many thanks to our sponsors that have showed their support
early on including
Apex Racing, G-Force, DWT, EKS Brand Goggles and No Fear!

Kyler Robinson Update
Kyler Attended the July 24th and 25th ATVA EDT
National at Astabula. In the 90 Prod Class Kyler finished 5th overall
and is currently sitting in 3rd overall for the season. In the 90cvt
class, Kyler finished 6th overall and is currently also in 6th place
overall in one of the most exciting races of the day. His Heat race on
Saturday had 5 out of the top 6 riders for this weekend in it making it
also an exciting race to watch as most where only a few feet apart for
most of the race. Most of the 90cvt class was clocked at speeds of over
50mph at the end of the long straightaway this past weekend. The overall
times for the 90cvt and prod. classes was faster than most "450C"
classes and was almost the same as the 40plus class, which can tell you
how far these CVT's have gone. The G Force built Malossi motor ran with
some of the nations fastest cvt motors and ran side by side with allot
of the supermini's in practice. Kyler is taking a break from the EDT
series as the next race is in N Dakota which is almost a 20 hour plus
drive, but will be back for the last race in Orville, Ohio hoping to
finish out the season in the Top 5 for both classes. On a side note" G
Force's own Nathan
Dawydko is currently in 1st place with only 2 races to go in the 90Prod
Class and is also in the top 2 in the 90 cvt class hoping to bring home
a EDT National Championship this season. We wish him the best of luck.

He took the holeshot and won the race. Every week he gets better and
better. The quad ran great. Thanks G-Force |
 |
Hayden Norris Update
After 7 NE-ATV events, he has 2 1st place finishes, 4 2nd place
finishes, and 1 3rd place finish, and is currently leading the 50cc
Class in Points. He also raced his first ever ATVA Nationals Race at
Unadilla and finished 13th in the 50 CVT production class riding a Quad
that was set up for the Limited class. He is enjoying his 2010 season,
and has become really good friends with alot of the kids he races with,
Kolton Gillian, Tyler Rich, Danny Balzano, Drew Blackstone, and Andy
Cummings...All Team G-Force Riders!! He really enjoys all the comments
he gets on how sharp his Quad looks with the G-Force designed graphics.
Thanks for all your advice and continued support. Go Team 03 & Team
G-Force!!! |
 |
Tristan Evans Update
Tristan has continued to improve as each race
passes. In June Tristan raced in Splendora, TX and got the holeshot in
his second moto. Needless to say he was very excited since this was only
his fourth event. Last
weekend Tristan placed #3 overall at Cornerstone MX park and was very
happy to now be in the fight for a podium spot! Tristan is getting a new
quad and G-Force graphics next week in preparation for his August race,
where we hope to challenge the leaders for some more points. Also,
Tristan is changing his number to #16. |

Jake Rehbein Update
Jake is now first in points in the 90cc Amateur

Tiernan Daly Update
Saturday July 17th Tiernan raced locally at Barlow
Point here in Longview Washington. We decided to try out sand drags. He
had two time trials consists of 300 ft, first race his time was 12.062
going 22.72 mph, his second time trials was much better with a time of
10.599 going 25.73 mph. So than we had a drivers meeting and had to turn
in a "index" (which mom knew nothing about..lol) so after asking around
what I should put down for his time i decided 10.55, so in his race he
was not supposed to go faster than 10.55 but of course Tiernan was
warmed up and ready to roll, he beat his time with 10.474...which
technically disqualifies him, they than take his time along with the
other racers time and declares winner by who was closer to their index
time, in which Tiernan was declared 1st place.
This was an experience I don't think we would ever do again, it was
fun but we like the whole checkered flag way better. Tiernan was the
youngest entry with the smallest quad there. The older kids were
awesome helping Tiernan to understand this type of race and also
made sure he knew how to get back to me by allowing him to follow.
So far being new to the races I have been very pleased with the way
people are helpful.

Cameron Whaley Update
This week Cameron raced at Halfmoon MX park in
Jacksonville, NC.
He raced a heat race then the feature race. Both races he was able to
get the hole shot off the line. He took 1st in the heat race with no
setbacks. In the feature race with only one lap down his chain came off
his
Apex 90. After this he had been passed, so the chase was on to
get back in the lead. He rode hard and made some impressive jumps while
trying to catch the race leader. As they approached the finish line
they were side by side. "Hotrod"
managed to pass in midair at the finish line at took the checkered
flag! 1st place two races in row. Way to go, Cameron! |
 |
Hunter "MUSKRAT" Martinez Update
Hunter raced the
Whiplash Desert
Firecracker Race on the 4th of July weekend in
Prescott, AZ. He was a little upset that his Gforce Apex blew
the crank seals and wasn't able to try out his new mods. Thanks to
some good friends(Jason and Max) hunter raced a back up qua d(90 Kasea).
He pulled the hole shot and after 30 minutes of racing landed with a 3rd
place finish. |

Kyler Robinson Update
Kyler raced at the July 10th ATV
Extreme Dirt Track National at Birch Creek in Virginia. In the 90
Prod auto class Kyler led the heat race for most of the race and
after a heated battle fell back to second place at the checker. In
the Main he finished in 4th Place overall in the 90 Prod
class. Kyler should be in the top 3 in points overall for this class
this season. In the 90cvt class in the heat he was running in 3rd
place for most of the race til he got loose late in the race and
went into a fence sending him back to 6th place after having to take
some time to get himself out after being tangled up in a fence. In
the main Kyler finished in 4th place. Kyler is looking forward to
the TT National at Astabula Ohio in 2 weeks.

Broken humerus, bruised pride, six weeks we will be ready to ride! See
ya at the races |

Carson Melchi Update
Carson Raced in Chadron Nebraska July 10th. The
track was more like a Supercross track. Les told us how to set the quad
up for both types of tracks and he was right on the money. Carson
took both holeshots and both motos for the day. It was the first
race of the season that dad didn't make mistakes. Carson won his
first race against the modified quad. We finally had
the advantage. |

Terrin Adams Update
Terrin Adams recently raced in
El Reno, OK for
a TQRA race. He rode hard, and had some tough competition. For his
4th race EVER, he walked away with 4th place in the mini-senior
class...we were so proud!! Some of the kids racing, have been riding
longer than he has been alive. Really amazing when you put it into
that perspective. A couple of weeks ago he raced round three of the
CKMS series at Marion, KS. He raced like he had never raced before,
it was like something just clicked and he went for it. He came home
with a 3rd place in Super-mini class (a 125/250cc class), and 4th in
Mini class on his DRR 90. While he is amazing on the track, what he
does off the track is what means the most. After being in the lead
for most of the mini race, when a FXR 125 caught him at the
finish line, it was heart-wrenching for Mom and Dad to watch.
We thought we were watching him win his first race...Well, Terrin
chased that kid down after the checkered flag, we were kind of
worried that he might be upset. But, he pulled off his helmet and
extended his
little hand, and said, "Great race, that was a lot of
fun"....OH, the lessons that can be taught by these kids, just melts
a Mama's heart!

Clayton Crise Update
Clayton participated in his
first ATV National at Pleasure Valley Raceway over the July 4th weekend.
There were 21 kids in the 70 Class. They held practice on Friday
and Claytons lap times got better as he went on for practice. His
first practice lap time was 2.17 his second practice lap time was 2.11
and the third practice lap time was 2.08. Clayton had to qualify
and he qualified 8th which allowed him to race on Sunday. On
Sunday he didn’t have a good gate pick however he was strong off the
gate. He is used to going off the gate with about 6 or 7 kids and
he had 21 kids on the gate. He was extremely nervous (as well as
his mom, dad and brother) but he held his own. He was running with
the pack and stayed right with them the whole race. He ended up
getting 13th place on Sunday, 14th place over all. For this being
his first National his family couldn’t have been more proud of him.
Thanks to Gary and the G Force family for everything
that they have done to help us get ready for the National.

Kyler
Robinson Update
Attended a District 5 arena cross race on a Friday night under the lights. In
practice I held Kyler back and made him wait till every youth atv was on the
track (about 20 all together) then let him go as we wanted to work on passing.
This definitely started the day off and gave him the confidence he needed to
have a great night of racing as he worked on passing moving up thru the field in
practice. There was about 10 90's at the gate which was a nice turnout. In moto
one Kyler holeshoted the first moto and lead from start to finish with about a
1/4 track lead at the end for a moto one victory. Kyler was looking for a
overall win and at the drop of the gate he was on a mission. With only 2 laps in
he had well over a 1/2 track lead and was pulling away with what appeared to be
an easy victory. Unfortunately on the last lap his luck changed and he snapped a
chain just with over a 1/4 lap to go. The G Force built Malossi Motor is
definitely holding it's ground in MX and TT this season. If looking for
reliability plus a very fast motor, Malossi is the way to go. We have also
started using a Hobo spring which has been lasting race after race and
recommended to all G Force riders. Ask Gary about this great spring if using
other brands and they are not holding up for more than a race. Kyler will be
taking a break from MX and going back to TT as we plan to attend the National in
Viriginia and then off to Astabula to his favorite track.

Tiernan Daly Update
Tiernan Daly raced in the Rianier Cycle Bowl flat track on Sat June 26th
2010. We signed him up for 0-70cc pee wee beginner class, he took 2nd
place. He was pretty confident on his quad, and had no fears to
be practicing with the bigger kids. He had a blast on the track and off
the track as well, he liked watching other riders, and even asked if we
could go back to the tracks on Sunday...lol

Ryan Kirkwood Update
Well the cast is off and Ryan is ready to get back to the track. He has
decided he wants to try racing some Harescrambles wih me. So his first
HS race will be on 07/17. He will continue to race motocross as well at
SunsetRamblers MX track. Les has been after me to post some pics of his
2010 race quad. It is an 08 chassis and a full mellossi motor, PCS pipe,
PVL, and Fox shocks and more but you get the idea. |

Jack Winland Update:
Jack pulled the holeshot against a 70 and a
couple 4 stroke 90s and finished 2nd overall this past weekend.
Taking a weekend off and going to enjoy the pool! |
|
 |
Clay Chandler Update:
Just a update. Clay had his first WNYOA GNCC win
of the year this past weekend at Miles MNT in PA. He did a really good
job, and is moving on to 2nd grade after a great year of school. He is
making us proud. |
 |
Noah Free Update:
This weekend at Murray Supercross, Noah really
showed composure and focus. He's been working on his takeoff in the
front yard all week and it paid off Saturday. He got the holeshot in
both the 71-90cc stock main and in the 71-90cc modified main race. He
ended up winning the stock race and he come in 2nd for the modified
race. He had that look of determination in his eyes again this week and
we all love it. GOOD JOB, HOLLYWOOD!!!

Cool Wip Racing Update:
After 6 of 9 races for the 2010
WORCS series Taylor and Emma Johnson riding for Cool Wip Racing
with G- Force Racing are racing for a strong finish to the 2010 season.
After a slow start to the season due to a frozen and snow covered
practice track for the first 4- events the Johnson girls are starting to
turn up the heat.
Emma Johnson holds a first place position in the 50
CC Stock class with a 33 point lead. Due to the class race schedule Emma
is not able to race in the 70 stock class but she is racing in the 70
production class on a stock quad. Emma holds 9 place and is 10 points
out of 8th. Not bad for a stock quad in a modified class.
Taylor Johnson is turning up the heat with solid
finishes because of the track time on our practice track and her riding
coach Dylan Maes. In the 8-15 Sportsman class the team (Dad) has
struggled with her 90 modified quad. We have finally turned the corner
with the quad. The Engine built by Les (of G- Force Racing) is running
like it should and now we are eating up belts but with Gary’s help we
will be able to fix this issue and start finishing races and moving up
in points. Taylor is 5th in points in the 90 stock class 16
point out of 4th. She sits 4th in points in the 70
stock class 13 out of 3rd
Cool Wip Racing will travel to Washington State next
month and compete in the WORCS race. Please come by and say hi to our
team and let us know if you need help or parts. We will be glad to help.
Cool Wip Racing will also be putting on a benefit
event for Derek Haxby on Saturday afternoon. Derek was injured at the
Honey Lake WORCS race. The benefit will help raise money for Derek’s
medical bills.
Please call 775-762-7658 for more information about the event.

Jack Winland Update:
Jack pulled the holeshot both motos and
finished 2nd overall in his class on Friday night. We got
rained out for the remainder of the weekend, I guess we will
play a little Wi motocross till it dries out.

Aeris Knop Update:
Had another race in Gillet, WI. It was a north
vs. south race combined. In 90cc stock I took first both motos with
a first overall. For 90cc mod I took 6th the first moto and 8th the
second moto for 8th overall. I ended up running my stock machine
for the mod class because my DRR was having some issues that my dad
needed to fix. I think i did pretty good though, I still beat 3
people in mod with my stock machine.

Kellen "K-Dub" Meyer Update:
Kellen was excited to start the new Mid America
Cross Country Series which has added 4 races to the AMA D15
schedule. We made the long trip to Bloomfield, IN on a beautiful day
and set up camp in the cow pasture along the main straight. After a
harrowing walk of the course (lots of mud and BIG hills), Kellen
wasn't even sure he wanted to race; but when morning came, he was
ready! K-Dub pulled the holeshot in the 90cc Stock class!
Unfortunately in the first woods section he got stuck behind a rider
from the Production Class, which set him back about 10 minutes. He
battled back nicely over the many hills, mud pits, and creek
crossings for next 2 laps of the 3+ mile course. Cousin Ben and
Uncle Lonny were posted at the gnarliest mud holes to help Kellen
and all the others through, and he ended up getting a 3rd lap in. We
were really fearful he would run out of gas, but he made it! The DRR
ran great throughout the race and K-Dub went from dead last to a 5th
Place finish in class, 9th overall. He still holds 3rd place in the
points, but made up a few on the top
2! Our next race is 7/10 in Greenfield, IN with the MAXC. The first
race was really cool and we can't wait for the next one! Thanks
again to Uncle Lonny, Steury Racing, and G-Force Powersports!

Dylon Wallace Update:
We have been real swamped with racing and
finishing school
and have had three races since last update. Second race at SOCCS was a
total mess we had about 3 inches of rain all week and when the weekend
came it was nothing but a mud pit. Had a great start off line and came
through in third place then took on some water and could not get it
going again. Had a bad day all around and finished in 8th place. Next
onto the Third SOCCS race with a great day and nice weather. Track was
set up nice and just a little stick. Rode hard all day long and pushed
to a 5th place finish while dodging down quads all day. Last we attended
the GNCC at Milfield this past weekend and after Dad spent the last
couple of weeks talking with Gary to figure out how to get some more
pull on the quad they figured it out. Went to the race with some new
parts and better running quad and thought I was in for a good day. Got
to the track late had to rush to get ready and signed up and got bad
spot on line and went into the woods in dead last. Worked hard after
hitting a tree in a turn to get out and back on the track. Work hard to
get back in good position until on the third lap the chain came loose
and wrapped around the front sprocket. I finished in 10th position and
then found out Dad forgot to lube the chain and may have played a role
in it coming off. Looking forward to getting back to SOCCS and the start
of the Motocross Series is also coming up. I am in for crazy summer with
trying to race and having Marching Band practice from now till school
starts again. I think I can pull it off though. Thanks to G Force for
helping with the quad and being very fast getting Dad the parts. |

Jack Winland Update:
Jack got the holeshot both motos this weekend, unfortunately he got
stuck in a gnarly dirt bike rut for a fourth overall. |
 |
Noah Free Update:
We have been really working hard on getting Noah
out of the gate quicker. Between getting the bike set up right and Noah
getting used to the changes, he hit the mark Sunday. This weekend at
Penny Corner Supercross he placed third in the modified class. He is now
currently running third in the TMXA series in the 71-90 cc modified
class with a stock bike. On his 71-90 stock class, he finally got the
holeshot and ended up with the win with 2 other riders running neck and
neck for first place. He is currently in first place for the series in
that class. I was telling him, "Don't give up" all weekend. It paid off
for us. That is the best I have ever seen him ride thus far this year.
Awesome job, Noah!!! |

Jason Raup Update:
Just thought I'd give you an update on how my latest race went. I was at
the Foot of the Mountain Harescramble for District 6 and the PA State HS
Series on May 30, 2010. My quad ran flawless - no rocks, trees, stumps,
or mud could slow me down. I ended up with the win in the 51-70cc quad
class! Thanks to G-Force and their awesome support. |

Nicolas McCready Update:
May 2 Jenkinsville, SC Mid East Harescramble
This was a tough race for Nicolas. His ATV wasn't running right. He was
last going into the woods. Dad stopped him before he even got gone and
changed a plug. That helped a little. It got better for him but on the
last lap about a half mile from the finish he ran out of gas. Luckily
there was someone in the woods with a little extra and gave him a splash
allowing him to cross the finish line. He finished 3rd in his class and
8th over all.
May 8 Yadkinville, NC GNCC
Nicolas got a decent start but his ATV still wasn't running the way we
had hoped. First two laps he came through in 6th place. The third lap
found him nose down in a ditch. He almost flipped it on himself but was
able to hold onto it. He bent up his ATV a little and the ATV didn't run
very well after that. He was able to get 8th in his class and 30th over
all.
May 16 Carolina Adventure World
Winnsboro, SC Mid East Harescramble
With a new piston and carb we felt good going into this race. Dad had
worked nonstop getting it ready. He had a good start and was into the
woods. He seemed to have disappeared. Two miles into the first lap his
ATV gave out on him. His spark plug wire had fallen down on the motor
and burned. He couldn't go any farther and got a DNF.
May 22 Somerset, PA GNCC
This was gonna be Nicolas' week. We could all feel it. His luck had been
bad but with a lot of hard work we got him going and the ATV was running
strong. Nicolas took off and the battle was on. Unfortunately something
happened again and the ATV just quit. He got one lap in and was out for
the day. He finished 15th in his class and 74th over all.
As of the end of May he is 4th in the points in the Mid East Series and
7th in the points in the GNCC. We're calling Gary again to start another
rebuild. Here's hoping June will be kind to Nicolas. |

Kolton Gillilan Update:
Kolton has 3 NEATV races under his belt and
feeling more comfortable every time he gets on his new apex. Can we
say "loving every
minute of it"
At his last race at MX 207 he was amazing. In the first round he was
running 3 when he got stuck in a mud hole. By the time they got him
out he was in last. But that didn't stop him. He came back to get
4th. 2nd round he can out strong and finished stronger. After a long
hard battle with number 5 on the last lap he ended up taken 2nd, for
a 3rd overall. Thank you G--FORCE for all you do. Also thanks to my
number one fan...." my dad"

Austin Keffer Update:
Thank you first of all to all of our sponsors! We
went to Honey Lake for our first WORCS race. Finished 9th, out of
16, in the 8-15 year old sport class and 8th in the 90 stock class (I
think, the results aren't posted yet). In a crazy weekend of wind and
intermittent snow, we finished the first race and were on the last lap
of the second with the kick starter fell off. A 250 bumped Austin from
behind, killing his quad, and without a kick starter he was stuck. Dad
realized the bolt holding the kick starter was broken 5 minutes before
the second race and didn't have time to fix it. Overall we were all
happy with our finish considering it was his first WORCS race. |
 |
Carson Melchi Update:
Carson raced May 22nd and May 23rd. Saturday Carson
had nothing but bad luck. He wasn't able to finish either moto.
The transmission went out in both motos of the day. He was mad but
showed excellent sportsmanship even though he was disappointed with the
Quad. He was leading the race and only had 1 lap to go to win. Man
he was close in getting his first win of the season. Sunday was a
much better day of racing. In the first moto he was in first place
til he went over the handlebars though the woops, but man was he on his
a game.
A pro rider told him the night before to just pin it though the woops
and that was what he did. Did get up to finish 3rd. The second
moto Carson finished 2nd. Overall for the day Cason finished 2nd.
Great weekend of racing now we just have to get more parts. Thanks to
the GForce team we will be able to get the parts we need for the next
round. Les his Quad you built is doing it part now its time for
the mechanic to stop making little mistakes I'll learn.
Thanks to GForce Powersports, Cow Country Trailers and friends and
family
